This is the most amazing frosting for cookies.
1/2 Cup shortening
4 Cups confectionary Sugar
1 TSP Vanilla extract (or almond)
4 TBS almond milk
In a stand mixer, put everything with the whisk attachment. Slowly turn on your mixer and gradually increase for 1 minute.
Divide frosting into different bowls and add your food coloring!
I use a pastry bag and different sized tips to decorate but you can just use a knife and spread on the frosting to each cookie! 🙂
