Here is a super simple whipped cream recipe that takes all of 5 minutes and 3 ingredients! Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 Cup COLD Heavy Cream

1 TSP granulated Sugar

1 TSP Vanilla (you can use any extract you like if you want; almond, coconut.. whatever floats your boat)

Directions:

Before you start:

The key to a silky whipped cream is to chill your bowl and whisk attachment in the freezer for at least 10 minutes. Why? I have no clue but it really makes for an amazing whipped cream.

In your mixer (hand or stand mixer) combine all of your ingredients. Turn the mixer on low to begin with otherwise you will get covered in cream! Once you see your mixture getting a little thicker turn up the speed to high. Let mix for 3 minutes. Or until light and fluffy. You will see stiff peaks or just the beginning of them.

Keep in the refrigerator or serve right away!

Enjoy!

*a little tip: If you notice that your cream has separated and started to look more like cottage cheese you’ve whipped toooooo long. A simple way to fix this is to add 2 TBS more of COLD cream, whip until fluffy!
